As of April 14, the legendary Miharu Takizakura in Fukushima Prefecture is in full bloom, displaying its cascading pink blossoms in all their glory. This over 1,000-year-old weeping cherry tree—one of Japan’s most famous—is now captivating visitors with its majestic presence both by day and by night.

In the evening, illuminations bring the tree to life, casting a soft glow that highlights the graceful, flowing branches and creates a fantastical, dreamlike silhouette against the night sky. It’s a breathtaking sight that draws photographers and nature lovers from across Japan and beyond.
